But within hours of the move Highland boss Gerry Rabbitt was threatening legal action against DLFM for the contents of its application.Mr Rabbitt is refusing to elaborate any further on those threats or what they pertain to.But DLFM last night issued a statement saying they stand over their application but will not comment on unspecific claims made by Highland. The statement, issued on behalf of DLFM by Charlie Collins said “DLFM has submitted a comprehensive application to the BAI for the North Donegal Broad Format Radio Franchise Services. “The contents of this application are fully correct and supported by empirical evidence, where relevant. This application is currently being considered by BAI as part of a competition process.“Therefore, DLFM is not prepared to comment on the unspecific claims that have been advanced by Highland Radio in connection with that application other than to categorically refute such claims.”It will be known in the coming weeks who has won the license to rule the North Donegal airwaves from September next and remain there for ten years.COLLINS SAYS DLFM STANDS OVER SUBMISSION AS RADIO BID HOTS UP was last modified: November 1st, 2013 by StephenShare this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:Charlie CollinsDLFMGerry RabbittHighlandlast_img
